Award "EXPO-DL-2ØØØ"
From June 1st to October 31st, 2000 the world exposition EXPO 2000 takes place in Hannover in central Germany. The district "lower saxony" of the german amateur radio club "DARC" offered the award "EXPO-DL-2ØØØ" to all radioamateurs and SWLs.

Award "EXPO-DL-2ØØØ" To acquire this award, it had been necessary to work german clubstations and special-event-stations. Only QSOs between January 1st, 2000 and December 31st, 2000 are valid for the award. One or several letters in the suffix of these worked stations you had to put together to the words:

"EXPO 2ØØØ HANNOVER"
The figure "2" or missing letters can be replaced by a worked special EXPO-callsign:
DAØEXP, DFØGDH, DKØEXP, DKØZGH, DLØEXP, DLØIBM, DLØXPO, DLØGDT (99-12-06)

There was no band restriction (all modes except Packet-Radio).

This award is recognized by the general assembly of the "DARC" on the 31th of October, 1999 in Berlin.

The award size is 210x297mm, printed multicoloured on white paper, weighing 215g/qm.

German clubstations and special-event-stations consist of the figure "Ø" (ZERO) in their callsign, with the exception of the german millenium-stations with the suffix "2OOO" (triple Oscar!).
